Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA ZGLOBICKI (POCHWALA) Peacefully on Sunday, June 19, 2011, Maria, age 97, passed away in the city of Winnipeg. Maria was born on July 18, 1913, in Poland, and came to Canada with her husband in 1971 to be with her family. Maria worked in the hospitality industry for a number of years before retiring. She enjoyed going to church and gardening. Maria is survived by her grandchildren, Andrew, Emilia (Jim Bangart), Adam and Ewa, great-grandchildren Michaela, Gabriella, Jordan and Jeremiah, niece Gina (Eddy), Valerie and nephew Lawrence. Maria was predeceased by her husband Andrzej Zglobicki, son Frank Zglobicki. Thank you to Holy Family Nursing Home for their compassionate care they have provided over the years. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at 10:00 a.m., at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue, with rosary commencing at 9:30 a.m. with an Oblate Father officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery, 4387 Main Street. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
